Individual Art Therapy Sessions:
In-Person & Online Support Tailored to You
Sometimes words aren’t enough—or aren’t possible. Art therapy offers a gentle, non-verbal way to explore what’s beneath the surface. Whether you’re navigating grief, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, or simply seeking deeper self-understanding, individual sessions provide a safe and supportive space to reconnect with yourself through creative expression.
With the guidance of a qualified art therapist, you’ll be invited to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences through a combination of art-making and reflective dialogue. You don’t need to be “good at art”—the process, not the product, is what matters.
Each session is tailored to your unique needs and may support:
- Processing overwhelming emotions
- Exploring identity and life changes
- Building coping strategies and self-compassion
- Reconnecting with your body, mind, or soul through sensory and creative modalities
- Making meaning from personal experiences
I offer both in-person sessions on the Central Coast, NSW, and online sessions for those who prefer or need to access therapy from the comfort of their own space.
Session details:
- Duration: 60 minutes
- Format: In-person or online via secure video
- Who it's for: Adults and teens seeking individual therapeutic support
- Availability: Please reach out for current availability
If you're looking for a creative and compassionate way to explore what’s going on inside, I’d be honoured to support you.

Expressions of Grief:
Weekly Art Therapy Groups for mothers bereaved from the loss of a child
Losing a child is one of the deepest sorrows a parent can face. In grief, words often feel too small for the love and pain held inside. An art therapy group offers a gentle, creative space to be with others who carry a similar loss
Through art-making and shared connection, you may find:
A sense of comfort in being with others on a similar journey
New ways to express feelings that are hard to put into words
A space to honour and remember your child with meaning
Gentle support for your heart, body, and mind through grief
The reassurance of not being alone in your journey
In this group, your story and your grief are welcomed with compassion. You don’t need any art experience—just a willingness to explore and express in your own way.
If you feel this group may support you, please reach out to Bern via the button below, or the connect form.
Tuesday Mornings, 9:30 - 11:00am, beginning 14th October for 10 weeks.
Community Art For Wellbeing:
Creative Journaling Groups
A space to slow down, reflect, and reconnect—one page at a time.
Our Creative Journaling Groups are a gentle invitation to explore your inner world through words, images, and creative expression. These sessions are not about perfect handwriting or polished artwork—they’re about showing up authentically and using the page as a mirror, a container, and a canvas for what you’re feeling, noticing, or needing.
Over 10 weeks, we explore themes like identity, self-compassion, emotion, boundaries, and growth through a multimodal approach to journaling. Using writing, drawing, collage, colour, and movement, you'll be guided to access your own wisdom and insight in a supportive, small-group setting.
Each session offers:
- A grounding creative prompt and guided journaling activity
- Time for personal reflection and optional group sharing
- A mix of writing, visual arts, and mindfulness-based practices
- A trauma-informed and non-judgmental space for connection and expression
You do not need any prior experience with journaling or art. This group is for anyone wanting to build deeper self-awareness, creativity, and connection in their lives.
